Here’s how we ensure every FDM print
meets Tote3D’s high standards before it reaches you:
- Support Removal
Any supports used during the printing process are carefully removed to
ensure a clean and accurate finish. - Sanding
To achieve smooth edges and remove visible layer lines, we sand the
printed items with coarse to fine-grit sandpaper as required. - Cleaning
Each item is thoroughly cleaned to remove any remaining debris or dust
from the printing and sanding process. - Dimensional Accuracy Checks
We measure key dimensions to ensure the item meets design specifications,
especially for functional parts like robotic or drone components. - Heat Treatment (Optional)
For parts requiring added strength or durability, we use controlled heat
treatment to anneal the material. - Assembly
